Application Lodgement

If you are seeking to subdivide, build or renovate, the following applications can be submitted anytime through the NSW Planning Portal:

  • Development Applications;
  • Construction Certificates;
  • Complying Development Certificates;
  • Occupation Certificates;
  • Subdivision Works Certificates;
  • Subdivision Certificates; and
  • Appointment of Principal Certifiers.

Note: From 1 July 2021, Council is no longer able to accept the lodgement applications via traditional methods such as in person, via post or via e-mail.

To submit an application through the NSW Planning Portal, an applicant will need to log in to the NSW Planning Portal (via an existing or new account), select the relevant application (e.g. DA, CC and/or CDC), upload their plans and submit their application.  The NSW Planning Portal will then notify Council of the application.

Prior to formally lodging your application a Council planner or building certifier will review your proposal to ensure that all necessary plans and documents have been provided.  You will be contacted to pay the relevant application fees and provide additional information (if required) prior to lodging your application.
