Notifications of Pesticide Use
Pesticides (e.g. herbicides) are used by Inverell Shire Council to control noxious weeds and other unwanted vegetative material on roadsides and other public lands under Council’s jurisdiction. Pesticides (e.g. termiticides, rodenticides) are also used from time to time to treat white ant and other insect/vermin problems in Council buildings and other structures.

Macintyre River From Ring Street Bridge to Tingha Bridge & Tingha Bridge to Lake Inverell
Inverell Shire Council wishes to advise that, weather permitting, weed control spraying will be conducted to control weeds and other undesirable vegetation along the Macintyre river from Ring Street Bridge to Tingha Bridge and Tingha Bridge to Lake Inverell from 1 October 2021, and will continue over the coming months until July 2022.

Ross Hill Reserve
Inverell Shire Council wishes to advise that, weather permitting, weed control spraying will be conducted to control weeds and other undesirable vegetation in Ross Hill Reserve from 19 April 2022, and will continue over the coming months until July 2022.
