Notices of Council implemented traffic interruptions and road closures for our Shire.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – ASHFORD – BACK TO ASHFORD REUNION

Inverell Shire Council wishes to advise that a temporary road closure will be in place in Ashford along Albury Street, between Duff and Martyn Streets, from 8.00am to 5.00pm on Saturday, 19th April 2025 for the Back to Ashford Reunion.

A temporary speed reduction will also be in place along Duff Street, between Bukkulla and Inverell Streets, of 40km per hour on Saturday, 19th and Sunday, 20th April 2025.

Council apologises for any inconvenience these changed traffic conditions may cause.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES – ANZAC DAY COMMEMORATIONS – 25 APRIL 2025

Inverell Shire Council wishes to advise that there will be temporary road closures for ANZAC Day commemorations:

INVERELL
A temporary road closure will in place in Inverell at the Evans and Lawrence Streets Intersection from 5.00am until 7.00am on Friday, 25th April 2025 for the ANZAC day Dawn Service.

Temporary road closures will also be in place in Inverell along parts of Vivian, Byron, Lawrence and Evans Streets from 10.00am until 1.00pm on Friday, 25th April 2025 for the ANZAC Day Assembly and street march.

ASHFORD
A temporary road closure will be in place in Ashford along Bala Street, between Duff and Martyn Streets from 5.00am to 7.00am on Friday, 25th April 2025 for the ANZAC Dawn Service.

Temporary road closures will also be in place in Ashford along Albury, Martyn and Inverell Streets from 10.00am to 12.15pm for the ANZAC Day Assembly and street march.

GILGAI
A temporary road closure will be in place in Gilgai along Marsh Street and Bundarra Road, between Schwenkes Lane and Park Street from 7.45am until 11.00am on Friday, 25th April 2025 for the ANZAC Day Assembly and street march.

TINGHA
A temporary road closure will be in place in Tingha along Ruby Street, between Topaz Street and New Valley Road from 10.00am until 11.00am on Friday, 25th April 2025 for the ANZAC Day Assembly and street march.
