Street Stall & Raffle Ticket Stands
If your local community organisation would like to sell raffle tickets or hold a street stall, you will need to complete an application to Council.
For information on availability of dates and locations, please contact Council. No more than three (3) stalls will be allowed at any one time in the Inverell CBD.
Important information for stall holders:
- Obtain permission from the owner and / or manager of the business adjacent to the proposed stall site;
- Ensure tables, chairs etc from stall site does not protrude on to the footpath by more than one (1) metre; and
- A condition of approval is a minimum of 50% of the funds raised from the stall must remain in the Inverell Shire (this requirement may be varied on approval of the General Manager).
Note: If objections of any kind are raised about the activity, Council staff can request that the activity be stopped.
To make an application to hold a Street Stall or Raffle Ticket Stand please download and complete the Street Stall/ Raffle Ticket Stand Application Form and return it to the Council Administration Centre at 144 Otho Street, Inverell or by emailing council@inverell.nsw.gov.au.
