Online Information Resources

More resources are available for free from the State Library of NSW and the National Library of Australia.

Your Inverell Shire Public Library card can now provide immediate access to the State Library of NSW online resources, including local and international newspapers, full-text journals, magazines, online databases, eBooks and eAudiobooks.

When using the State Library of NSW online resources, you will be prompted to register and log in using your Library card number. (Please remember that Inverell Library cards start with a capital letter “I” for Inverell, not the number one).

To access National Library of Australia resources, you must register directly with the Library.

Coverage for most titles starts in the 1980s, 1990s or 2000s and continues through the present day. Access Australia includes influential news sources from every state and territory, with major titles available as full colour images. Coverage includes articles from a number of regional titles such as the Inverell Times, Northern Daily Leader and The Land. Use your Library card number to log in.
