Council’s Response
In support of the NSW Government’s push to combat the virus by increasing vaccination rates, Council encourages residents to get vaccinated.
At August’s Ordinary Council meeting, councillors agreed that an 80 per cent vaccination rate is our pathway away from lockdown, which will be both an economic and social boost to the community.
Councillors also pledged to lobby the Federal Government for the establishment of mobile vaccination clinic to visit the shire’s small communities. Read more in our media release.

LOCAL BUSINESSES
For information on local business and facilities please make direct contact with the particular business / facility to ensure individual requirements are adhered to.
For residents who are in self isolation or those who wish to minimise contact with others, many local businesses are now offering services such as home delivery, phone ordering and contactless pick-up.
Council is maintaining a list of these businesses, which is posted on our Facebook page.
We encourage residents to take up these options and commend local businesses for continuing to service our community in these difficult times.
