DROUGHT ASSISTANCE IN THE INVERELL SHIRE
Individuals, families, farms, and communities in Inverell Shire can access a range of national, state and local drought support services.
Initiatives established to help farmers and their families can be found on the Australian Government’s DroughtHub website.
The Drought Psychologist, based in Armidale, offers free support to individuals, couples and families impacted by drought throughout our region. Stress, loss and uncertainty can make it difficult to cope, and talking these things through can often help. Fully confidential discussions can be undertaken by phone, Skype or by a visit to your home or farm.
