Time’s running out to Dine and Discover in Inverell
10 May 2021
LAUNCHED by Service NSW in March in response to the COVID-induced decline in economic activity, the “Dine & Discover NSW” scheme is due to come to an end on 30 June 2021, leaving residents with just 7 weeks to use their $100 worth of vouchers.
Inverell Shire Council Mayor, Paul Harmon announced a free tech lesson that will be available to all shire residents wanting to learn the basics about the Service NSW app, including how to register for and use the “Dine & Discover NSW” vouchers before time runs out.
“If you’re not feeling confident with the technology, and need some assistance navigating and using the Service NSW app, the Inverell Library is offering a free workshop to all residents on 18 May.”
“Whether you need a hand registering for the ‘Dine & Discover NSW’ vouchers, practicing how to use the COVID-safe check in feature or even applying for a digital driver’s licence, our staff at the Inverell Library will be there to help.”
The free class will run from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Tuesday, 18 May 2021.
“All residents wanting to take part in the tech lesson must book prior to the event, and bring along their driver’s licence, Medicare card and email account details.”
“Participants are encouraged to notify staff and arrive at the library 15 minutes prior to the start time if the Service NSW app is not already installed on their smart device.”
For more information about the free event, or to secure a spot, contact the Inverell Shire Library on (02) 6728 8130.
