Mellow Mondays for Children (in years 3-6)

FreeOur colleagues at Inverell Shire Library are offering a series of small group ‘Mellow Mondays’ sessions for children in years 3-6.
Each weekly session will involve a 20 minute Yoga and Relax with Susan Ward from Proactive Health and Fitness followed by some activities and games that encourage calm and thoughtful participation.
This program will run for 7 weeks on Monday afternoons from 4-5pm.
By signing up you are committing to attending all 7 sessions which will be held on the following dates: 3rd May, 10th May, 17th May, 24th May, 31st May, 7th June and 21st June. (No session on Monday 14 June as it’s a public holiday).
Children are encouraged to:
- Have afternoon tea before arriving at the sessions;
- Wear clothing suitable for participating in the Yoga and Relax part of the session and be prepared to remove your shoes;
- It is advisable to bring along a towel and/or a yoga mat and some water.
