Tingha Tin Festival
December 3, 2022
FreeThe Tingha Tin Festival is a FREE family friendly event for all ages.
The Tingha Tin Festival first began in 2009, with the celebration of 140 years since the discovery of tin in Tingha. The event was so successful it was decided to continue with an annual event which grew to include a parade – which leaves from the Tingha village and proceeds to the Tingha Sport & Recreation Grounds lead by a pipe band.
Featuring stalls, entertainment for children/youth, live music and concluding with an evening event of the Tingha Tin Princess competition and an evening meal at the Tingha Sport & Recreation Club.
The entrants in the Parade start mustering around 9.00am in the area of Symes Park, Opal street, Tingha. The Parade starts off at 10.00am and proceeds along Amethyst Street to Ruby Street, then along Ruby Street to the Tingha Recreation Reserve Ground where the cars, motorbikes and other entrants park up around the grounds for everybody to enjoy viewing them.
Funded by the NSW Government.
