SENIOR TEAM LEADER WATER SERVICES

The Senior Team Leader Water Services is an operative/ team leader or tradesperson/ team leader responsible for the satisfactory implementation of maintenance and repair programs for water distribution systems.  The Senior Team Leader Water Services shall be responsible for the supervision and control of a team of staff and carrying out of and arranging connection to existing reticulation.

This position is based at the Inverell Works Centre.

TEMPORARY ADMINISTRATION OFFICER (PARENTAL LEAVE RELIEF)

The Temporary Administration Officer (Parental Leave Relief) shall support the Administration Coordinator and Civil and Environmental Services staff with word processing, clerical and office administration services and liaise between the public and staff where necessary.

CASUAL POSITIONS

Occasionally Council may require casual employees for short term or relief positions, both on the indoor and outdoor staff.

Registration Forms are available from the reception desk at Council’s Administrative Centre. You may attach a resume to this form if you wish.

Please leave your completed form at Council’s reception desk, or mail to PO Box 138, Inverell NSW 2360. You will be considered for any casual positions which become available. It is advisable to renew your Registration Form every six (6) months.

Inverell Shire Council employs in excess of 200 staff at any one time.

Council is required under the Local Government (State) Award to advertise vacancies, in a manner to “enable suitably qualified persons to apply for the position”. This may be done by advertising internally or externally as decided by Council on a case by case basis.
