The Weighbridge Operator has the responsibility of and will assist in a range of duties at Inverell Landfill and Council’s other Waste Management Facilities. The position will see physical demands such as prolonged use of keyboards, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, frequent bending and heavy lifting and use of heavy machinery. The position involves working on weekends and public holidays on a roster system.

Occasionally Council may require casual employees for short term or relief positions, both on the indoor and outdoor staff. Registration Forms are available from the reception desk at Council’s Administrative Centre. You may attach a resume to this form if you wish. It is advisable to renew your Registration Form every six (6) months.
