March Council Meeting

INVERELL Shire Council held its March Ordinary Council Meeting on Wednesday, 26th March 2025. The following items were of note:
- > Council is to make a submission on the review of NSW companion animals law.
- > Council resolved to allocate funding to realign and rehabilitate 2 sections MR187 Yetman Rd north of Graman.
- > Council resolved to conditionally support a licence for use of Rob Roy Recreation Reserve.
- > Council appointed representatives of the Waste Management Sunset Committee and Inverell Pioneer Village Committee.
- > Council resolved to delegate authority to the Mayor and General Manager to make a submission to the inquiry into the Health Services Amendment (Splitting of the Hunter New England Health District).
- > 2025 Multicultural Festival and Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic were resounding successes.
- > Council provides support to bring the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow to Inverell.
Inverell Shire Council will hold its next meeting for 2025 on Wednesday, 23rd April 2025.
