February Council Meeting

27 February 2025

INVERELL Shire Council held its February Ordinary Council Meeting on Wednesday, 26th February 2025. The following items were of note:

  • > Council received a resignation from Cr Paul Harmon.
  • > Council resolved to support the 2025 Swan Cup.
  • > Council resolved to support an inquiry into the splitting of Hunter New England Health.
  • > Council appointed representatives of the Delungra District Development Council.
  • > Community Satisfaction Survey Report confirmed strong support for Council.
  • > Council will look to further develop concept plans to upgrade the Evans Street Cultural Precinct, prior to seeking community comment.
  • > Council received $88,000.00 to deliver a skate park for Delungra.
  • > Council adopted a new Cyber Security Policy.

Inverell Shire Council will hold its next meeting for 2025 on Wednesday 26th March.
