Chilean Needle Grass Information Session

Northern Tablelands Local Lands Services Glen Innes Agronomist, Jeff Lowen and Inverell Shire Council Weeds Officer, Geoff Riley will hold an information session on the weed – Chilean Need Grass on Friday, 10 May 2019 at 3:30 pm at the Inverell Club, Inverell.
The information session will include:
- > history and biology including potential to spread further;
- > trail work – past, present and future;
- > participants experiences
- > approaches to CNG including control options, utilisation (living with it) and managing to maximise production from CNG.
- > CNG attributes – quantity & quality, field inspections and other discussions.
An afternoon tea will be provided after the event.
