At Council, we’re excited to be launching a calendar of events just for the youth of the Inverell Shire.
These events are an Inverell Shire Council initiative which have been funded by NSW Government’s Youth Opportunities program.

EVENTS AND INITIATIVES
YOUTH KAYAK TOUR – 5 May 2018
Free guided kayak tour for Inverell Shire Youth (open to youth 12-20 years).
Registration is essential prior to the day and numbers are limited. Email email@example.com, call into the Admin Centre in Otho Street or download the form below to register.
Kayak, safety vest and snacks provided. All abilities and beginners are welcome!
This is an Inverell Shire Council initiative funded by NSW Government’s Youth Opportunities program.
In the interests of fairness, participants who attended our last kayak event in January are not eligible to register.
CAREER CHOICES EXPO – 20 June 2018
A smorgasbord of employers and education providers will be on show when Inverell hosts 2018 Careers and Life Choices Expo in June this year.
The biennial event attracts hundreds of high school students from across the Northern Tablelands and is being hosted by Inverell Shire Council with funding from NSW Youth Opportunities program.
In a coup, celebrity keynote speaker and Winter Olympic gold medallist Steven Bradbury will address participants with his insights for goal setting and overcoming adversity.

YOUTH FIRST AID CLASS – 9-10 July 2018
A free First Aid Certificate for Youth aged 14-20 years.
Class delivered over 2 days during school holidays (4 hours each day, snacks provided).
Trainer – RESUS PLUS. Participants who complete the workshop will receive a certificate in First Aid.
Event funded by Council and NSW Youth Opportunities Program.
Call into Council to receive a hard copy enrolment form.
