Christmas begins this week in Inverell Shire
20 November 2024
IT’S beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
This weekend sees the commencement of Christmas festivities in Inverell.
Inverell Shire Council will be conducting the lighting of the Christmas tree in conjunction with the Inverell East Rotary Christmas Fair.
The Christmas Fair has taken the place of the Venetian Carnival, which had been run by Inverell Apex for decades.
The Christmas Fair has been supported by Inverell Shire Council to ensure this annual Christmas tradition continues for the benefit of the community.
The program of the Fair includes, live entertainment, chocolate wheels and food stalls.
There will be a visit from Santa Claus at 7pm and the lights of the Christmas Tree will be switched on at 7:45pm.
The Christmas Fair will commence at 4pm in Campbell Park, this Saturday 23rd November.
