Advertised Development Applications
As per Council Policy and Legislation, certain types of Development Applications (DA’s) require public exhibition in the Inverell Times and on the Council’s website. Should any DA’s currently be under exhibition, you will find them listed below.
Pursuant to Section 4.59 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 Notification of Development Consents and Notification of Complying Development Consents are made available via Council’s Notification of Development Application Consents & Complying Development Consents web page and advertised monthly via Council’s Public Notices.
DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS
The below Development Application has been received for determination by the Inverell Shire Council:
Proposed Development Description: Extractive Industry
Application: DA – 19/2025
Applicant: ATJs Earthworks PTY LTD
Address AND Title Particulars: Lot 106 DP 656030 – 472 Eddy Park Lane, GUM FLAT NSW 2360.
The Development Application is on public exhibition for a period of 35 days, from 8:30am on Thursday, 10th April 2025 until 4:30pm on Wednesday, 14th May 2025 (the Exhibition Period).
The Development Application and the accompanying Environmental Impact Statement may be inspected during the Exhibition Period at Inverell Shire Council’s Administration Centre, 144 Otho Street, Inverell during ordinary office hours.
An electronic copy of the Development Application and the accompanying Environmental Impact Statement may also be inspected during the Exhibition Period on Council’s website, which are provided below.
The proposed development is ‘Designated Development’ in accordance with Section 4.10 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and Schedule 3 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021.
The proposed development is ‘Nominated Integrated Development’ in accordance with Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, with the following approvals required:
- Environment Protection Licence, to authorise carrying out of a scheduled activity at any premises, under Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997. The approval body is the NSW Environment Protection Authority;
Any person may make a written submission to Inverell Shire Council concerning the Development Application during the Exhibition Period. If the submission is made by way of objection, the grounds of the objection must be specified in the submission.
Any person who makes a submission by way of objection and is dissatisfied with a determination of the consent authority to grant development consent, may appeal to the Land and Environment Court.
